Backfilling

The area behind a new retaining wall that will support widening on the southern end of the bridge is backfilled and compacted.


Beam Placement

Beam placement continues on the upstream side of the bridge. The new beams will widen the bridge by six feet on each side to provide room for the new northbound auxiliary lane.
